What is the Canine Good Citizen Test?
The AKC Canine Good Citizen Test is a nationally recognized program created by the American Kennel Club. It’s designed to evaluate how well your dog behaves in real-world situations.
Dogs who pass the CGC test demonstrate that they:

Show polite behavior with people and other dogs
Respond reliably to common commands
Are prepared to behave appropriately in public settings

What Is the CGC Program?
